Now, these same changes are also what will make you look years older than what you are. The best way to ensure that your muscles grow to their maximum potential is to consume a lot of protein and give your body plenty of time to recover. If you overtrain, you might end up hurting your muscles right away, even before they begin to grow. So be careful not to overextend yourself. It's much better to exercise with good form than to work out for an hour every day and get injured.
